For my commission at Silky Oaks Lodge, I created a series of five artworks inspired by its extraordinary setting on the Mossman River and neighbouring the world famous Daintree Forest.
Highly regarded for its clear, clean waters and pristine condition, the Mossman River winds its way eastward through Kuku Yalanji land, home to the world’s oldest continually surviving rainforest.
The works are a response to this staggeringly beautiful and unique part of the world.
