EVERYNOTHING

Excerpt from EveryNothing © Catherine Nelson 2017

Nothing is a concept denoting the absence of something, and is associated with nothingness. In nontechnical uses, nothing denotes things lacking importance, interest, value, relevance, or significance.

“EveryNothing”, comprises of segments of over 100 plants which I photographed at the living plant collection at The National Botanical Gardens of Belgium, with a focus on rare and endangered plants.
In the animation, the organism endlessly recedes into the ‘nothing’ from where it came whilst continuously changing form and colour.

Music composed performed and recorded by Alexander Berne and The Abandoned Orchestra. Mastering by Gary Baldassari
